I have been fond of books since my early childhood. Being born in a Bengali family, it was only natural for me to be exposed to the wide spectrum of Bengali literature. I read many books throughout my life, but I have not read as many as I often dream of. But when I started to reading science fiction, my love for Jule Verne’s writing increased exponentially.

Reading helps to develop different skills and makes one knowledgeable, makes them focused, and helps improve their communication skill. But, more importantly, reading helps relieve stress and helps us relax. Reading is a productive way to spend your leisure.

Reading and books are two parts of the same coin. People who are fond of reading have immense love for books. They have their preferred genres and books in that genre. While some of us love to read literature, some love is into history, philosophy, science, psychology, journals, and more.

Books are an important part of our lives, and an earnest reader cannot think of a day without reading one page of a book. Having a close relationship with good books helps us build a better personality that helps build a career and helps with better social relationships. My Favourite Book: Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea

My favorite book is Twenty Thousand Leagues under the sea. This book depicts an adventurous tour underwater. Since I love thinking of the unknown and the unseen, science fiction always mesmerizes me. This book by the famous science fiction writer Jule Verne is tells the story of the world’s first-ever submarine.

The book tells the story of Pierre Aronnax, a marine biologist, his servant Conseil, and Ned Land, a harpooner. Three of them went to the sea in search of a giant whale. However, they are taken prisoner by the captain of a strange submarine named Nautilus. Captain Nemo’s Nautilus was equipped with the best technology, which was ahead of the time the story takes place.

Also, the character of Captain Nemo is an iconic character in the history of science fiction. Although prisoners, Arronax heads out on an underwater journey with Nautilus and Nemo. The reader can take a deep dive into underwater life and have an adventurous experience while reading this book.

Books are an integral part of our lives; they are our best friends. Books contain the knowledge about the world. Befriending books brings us knowledge, peace, and contentment with who we are. My love for books grew when my parents started to bring me books during my early childhood.

My favourite book is written by Mark Twin and is named The Adventure of Tom Swayer. The book follows the adventures of a mischievous young boy named Tom Sawyer in the fictional town of St. Petersburg, Missouri.

Tom spends his days getting into trouble with his friends, such as tricking his peers into whitewashing a fence for him, attending his own funeral, and searching for treasure. Along the way, he falls in love with a new girl in town named Becky Thatcher and becomes entangled in a dangerous plot involving a murderer named Injun Joe.

The novel explores themes of growing up, friendship, and the importance of honesty. I read an edited version of Mark Twain’s novel when I was younger. When I grew up, I could not help reading the Novel. It is one of my favourite books. This book made me interested in Mark Twain’s other books like Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I love the journey, and the adventure Huck Finn had through the Mississippi river.
