It can also be a dearly cherished goal someone has worked their entire life to achieve.

The importance of dreams, visions, and imagination makes us who we are. Dreams are important, and we need to hold on to them as tight as possible. I like to think of dreams as a determination that keeps me awake at night and working during the day. My dream is to become a comic book illustrator.
It is hard to turn your dream into reality. But dreamers don’t let the word ‘hard’ get in between themselves and their dreams. They work day and night tirelessly to achieve what they dream of. Being a dreamer, I cannot help being determined and focusing on my goal. When we dream of something, we should start by making a strong determination and then plan our journey accordingly.

My Dream
I dream of becoming a comic book illustrator, and I am very determined to achieve my dream. I have been fascinated with cartoons and comic books since childhood. I loved watching different superhero cartoons as a child, and I loved doodling them on my sketchbook.
My love for comic book art grew exponentially with time. I started facing the challenges of learning the basics of drawing ( which starts with holding the pencil properly, and drawing perfect circles and straight lines.). Since I didn’t have any mentor around me to help, I took the journey on my own and started taking inspiration from some of the best artists in the industry, like Alex Ross and Jim Lee.
Currently, I am studying books by famous artists like Andrew Loomis and George Bridgeman. Indeed it is hard to follow your dream and work on it every day, but I make it my intention not to give up.

Dreams are both what we see when we are asleep and what we cannot stop thinking of when we are awake. But it is quite funny that the dream I dream of when I am sleeping or awake are the same. In my dream, I see myself climbing mountains and wanting to become a mountaineer one day.
It seems like a lofty dream, but I see myself conquering Everest one day. I have already started taking courses, understanding the gears and the maps. I know it will take a lot of time, but I am sure I will achieve my dream someday.
